We tend to let time pass by and forget
What is truly important:
Do we live the life
we want to lead,
or
Do we wait until life
leads us?
A heart that’s been neglected
Chooses not to lead by love, but
By example.
Just as a song that consists of such a topic
Is one not easily sung.
Our emotions are a train leaving its station
And never meeting its destination.
We wait and
wait and
wait and
wait
for something good to happen
but we never seem to feel satisfaction.
Thoughts seethe with boiling tension reading
“what have I done, what do I do now?”
but it’s too late
they’ve lead by example and have
neglected the life they should’ve lead.
